Brightly beams our Father’s mercy From his lighthouse evermore, But to us he gives the keeping Of the lights along the shore. Trim your feeble lamp, my brother; Some poor sailor, tempest-tossed, Trying now to make the harbor, In the darkness may be lost. Let the lower lights be burning; Send a gleam across the wave. Some poor fainting, struggling seaman You may rescue, you may save." -Brightly Beams Our Father's Mercy hymn  SHORT EMAIL TODAY i am so very out of time but I figured a little something is better than nothing! I love this hymn, as I reflect this feels like a theme of my mission. Heavenly Father is our lighthouse and we are the little lights along the shore! We have the possibly to make such a difference in someone's life, to bring that same light we have to these "struggling seaman". It's no secret life is hard and full of storms and waves, how grateful I am for the lighthouse but even more right now for the opportunity to be the little light to t...

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT🤍 Here Am I; Send Me "Heavenly Father can provide miracles when you simply offer what you have. When you say, “Here am I, send me,” Heavenly Father can take something small and simple and make it great!"  Susan Porter Wow I love this quote. She introduces this thought talking about the story of the 5 loaves of bread and the 2 fish. She explains how there is the boy who offers these things, giving all that he has, and then Jesus is able to provide the miracle of the thousands of people being fed! As I think of my own life...I usually look at my contribution like 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish but God doesn't ask that we feed the 5,000-He just asks that we give all that we have. He takes us as we are, He appreciates every small step, every effort, and He works miracles with them. So my question and invitation this week is: What are your 5 loaves and 2 fish you could give to the Lord this week so He can work miracles in your life?  UPDATES  🏞 last pday we vi...

HIYA that's right, yes, I am back. Sorry for lack of email last week BUT I am here as a show of my repentance:) Short and sweet today: SPIRITUAL THOUGHT  Psalm 30:5 "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."  We are never abandoned by our loving Father in Heaven. We experience hardships to cultivate growth, to come to know our Savior who understands our pains perfectly, to ultimately become even as our God is. So when the first part of this verse is you, as it has been me as well, remember remember that your joy is just around the corner. Your Savior is there, and God is only a prayer away. He will heal your broken heart as you offer Him all the pieces. He loves you, so much more than you know.🤍 I am super out of time SO as for tiny update I love Kuopio. I am so grateful to be here, I'm grateful for our amazing friends who strengthen my testimony and add to my joy. I'm grateful for a God who answers prayers. I'm grateful to know fam...

Guys. Seriously why is time going by so fast I'm getting a little scared haha.  BUT here I am with lovely updates and a spiritual thought to enrich us all:  HENGELLINEN SANOMA  1 Nephi 20:10 For, behold, I have refined thee, I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.  This is the Lord talking to the prophet Isaiah but, really He's talking to each one of us. With it being the week leading up to Easter I thought of this verse in terms with Christ's Atonement. Quick second quote here: "I wonder, if Jesus were to choose a place where you and He could meet, a private place where you would be able to have a singular focus on Him, might He choose your unique place of personal suffering, the place of your deepest need, where no one else can go? Somewhere you feel so lonely that you must truly be all alone but you aren’t quite, a place to which perhaps only He has travelled but actually has already prepared to meet you there when you arrive? If you are waiting for Him t...
