"can we run with you?" 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Guys. Seriously why is time going by so fast I'm getting a little scared haha. 

BUT here I am with lovely updates and a spiritual thought to enrich us all: 

HENGELLINEN SANOMA 
1 Nephi 20:10 For, behold, I have refined thee, I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. 

This is the Lord talking to the prophet Isaiah but, really He's talking to each one of us. With it being the week leading up to Easter I thought of this verse in terms with Christ's Atonement. Quick second quote here:

"I wonder, if Jesus were to choose a place where you and He could meet, a private place where you would be able to have a singular focus on Him, might He choose your unique place of personal suffering, the place of your deepest need, where no one else can go? Somewhere you feel so lonely that you must truly be all alone but you aren’t quite, a place to which perhaps only He has travelled but actually has already prepared to meet you there when you arrive? If you are waiting for Him to come, might He already be there and within reach?" (God's Favorite by Elder Hirst) 

The price has already been paid for our pains, sicknesses, disappointments, failures, mistakes, challenges. And we were all the joy put before Christ when He died. We were His motivation because He always chooses to love us. And when Jesus Christ died for you he made it so your trials have a deeper meaning-becoming more like Him. It's not easy, but we can do it! God never gives us a trial we cannot overcome, He shows us we are way more capable than we think we are! 

QUICK STORY 
While on splits and in a streets finding block, I saw a guy running toward us a bit far off and so I asked my comp for the day, "Hey I've never run with anybody before...wanna try it?" She was in fact down sooooo when bro was about to run by I asked (this all happened in finnish) "Can we run with you?" "Go ahead" So we did! And it was actually a super nice interaction. Taught some principals and he left us with a fist bump:)

As for updates things are great in Kuopio! We have lots of really great friends progressing, God has been blessing us so much.

 Moi!  Well for starters...I MADE IT TO FINLAND!! My trainer is the absolute best and I feel so so lucky, her name is Sisar Wynn :) And I'm in a town called Rauma!! "Onneksi olkoon Airfryer!" 💯

 HAUKKUMINEN  It was super funny we got an airfryer at mission tour, our mission is in the process of getting them out to all the missionaries! They're super handy for making food fast which is such a blessing as a busy missionary BUT what was funny is that we had to carry this huge airfryer box all the way back home on public transport and stuff and someone said "(the title of this email) =Congratulations on the Airfryer!" It made me giggle.  PÄIVITYKSET  🔥 Mission Tour! aka the area president and his wife spoke with half of the missionaries in the mission and it was SO powerful. I had gone into "mission tour" wanting to know that the Lord was aware of me and the very first talk given by our lovely sister mission president (the wife of our mission president, she loves to say there is two mission presidents including herself haha I love her) talked about something I have been struggling with for a long time now. the greatest gift 💝

Hiya everyone, this is my mom. (trainer)  Her name is Sister Wynn, she's going home this week and I am going to miss her so much. She has been such an example to me, from day 1, of Christlike love and charity. I love you Wynn!  But in other news, transfers are in a week. A WEEK! I swear the transfers just feel faster and faster and before I know it I'm going to be back home-so wild to think about.  Yay for Finnish boxing-day and celebrating Christmas for 3 days! We have so many lovely members who are gonna take us in during the holiday, AND my comp and I did some fun christmas things for each other too. We also had a Christmas Conference and I got to sing some songs! (serious shoutout to Aimee and being my inspiration to sing My Grown Up Christmas List)  But with it being Christmas time I think it appropriate to share a special spiritual thought focusing on the greatest gift of them all: Our dear savior and friend, Jesus Christ.  This Child divine...
