"You know how bunnies lay eggs?"🐰

Tervetuloa takaisin! (Welcome back!)

Well, it's now been 3 weeks which means next week I'll be halfway through my MTC stay?!? Sisar Luke and I were just recently talking about how this missionary experience feels like a different life. I just hope after the mission I'm able to take these experiences and not necessarily remember all of them, but have become something more than I was before through them...if that makes sense.

Also Tuesday devotionals are the absolute best and I especially loved yesterdays because it talked about how Jesus Christ is our everything. He's our WHY. Elder GimΓ©nez even pointed out that he was wearing a tie because he loves Jesus Christ. It just makes me want everything I do, I do, because of Jesus Christ, because I love Him, and that's the most important thing. I love you all so much, I pray for yall, and I feel so blessed to feel the support from you guys. Please please email anytime I really wanna stay in touch! But I just wanted to say yall are on my mind :)

Updates:
🀍 I said another group prayer in Finnish, except this time it was for a meeting with all the European missionaries which was absolutely terrifying BUT one of the Elders in my district (who's actually from Sweden-) told me it sounded really good ?! Shoutout Vanem Olsson
🀍 I feel like I've gotten to know the people outside of my little Finnish district a lot better and that's been so fun-like I've gotten to know a more casual side of them outside of district discussions, and they're seriously amazing and so fun. I just feel so blessed to be in my district !
🀍 So this Sunday I actually taught a micro lesson with Sisar Luke about following God's will which went super well and the spirit was so strong AND I also gave a talk to the rest of our branch...so a busy Sunday but Sunday's are easily my favorite day of the week because it's the day that's most focused on the Savior πŸ’— (even though they all are)
🀍 This week was focused a lot on bearing our testimonies in Finnish and I just am loving the language-don't get me wrong there's still so much to learn, but if I went now and all I could do was bare my testimony of God and Jesus Christ I would more than alright with that
🀍 Some of the Elders in our district (including the Vanhimmat/Finnish Elders) have been getting sick but thankfully I think everyone is at least feeling good enough to come to class (classes without the Vanhimmat are definitely not as fun)
🀍 So every Sunday we have this thing called Go and Do which is basically just an hour and a half set aside for personal study with some starting questions and it's seriously amazing- even if you guys just have like 15 minutes to spare in your day pray and read your scriptures and make God a part of your day! I can personally testify that doing that will give you greater peace throughout your day.

Spiritual Thought:
We had this great workshop just the other day that was about "Talk with Everyone" and I really liked how they compared an iceberg to people. We see the small piece of ice on the water's surface and make judgments on that, when in reality there's SO much more to people. And when we really take the time to get to know people I think we'll be surprised how easy it is to love them. And this thought hit me even harder when one of the Elders in my district went around the room and told every single person something he loved and had noticed about them during our short time here. Imagine how much Jesus knows and loves you?! He knows and loves you enough to die for you, he has perfect love which can cast out ALL fears. Who is Jesus Christ to you? Who do you want Him to be in your life?

Noteworthy Sidenotes:
πŸ’™ (TITLE) Sooooo we were at lunch one day (one of the days I was getting to know the rest of my district better) and we were coming up with spiritual thoughts based on whatever we thought of....so Vanem Allen and I told Vanem Cole to make up one about bunnies...(I think you can see where this is going) and after taking a really long time to think about it he confidently says "You know how bunnies lay eggs?" It was probably easily the highlight of my week haha I mean he said it so confidently I didn't see anything wrong with his statement until I took a second to think on it hahahhaha
πŸ’™ All of us Sisters just taking turns wearing each others clothes haha
πŸ’™ It's SO sunny and warm here and I absolutely love it !!
πŸ’™ Sisar Spear made us PULLA?!? It's this super yummy Finnish bread and I cannot wait to have/make more !!
πŸ’™ I'm making bracelets for my district peoples and I even made one for our teacher, Sisar Anderson, who's getting married before we're even out of the MTC????!
πŸ’™ Sisar Luke occasionally talking with words like "perchance" "indeed" like the absolute queen she is πŸ‘‘
