Sisar in a Suomi Sauna

So I can officially say that I'll be in Europe NEXT WEEK?! I'm actually so excited to head out, even though I already know I'm gonna miss my district like crazy- Anyways like I briefly mentioned in my email last week it's my SYL week which just means I wear (P K = Puhu Kieltäsi....Speak Your Language) on my tag and I try to only speak my language unless it's absolutely necessary not to. Although I can still talk to people, I'm just encouraged to try first in Finnish. Which is great because by holding myself accountable this week and speaking as much as possible, I'll be more prepared for Finland :) It's definitely been tough at times but it's seriously good practice!  As usual I'll get into updates, a spiritual thought, and other fun noteworthy things that happened. So somehow its now been 6 weeks here in the MTC, which means I have 2 more?! So I'll finish out this week and starting Monday I'll be SYL-ing (Speak Your Language)?! And then that next Tuesday I'll be flying out pretty much??! Honestly as I'm nearing the end of my MTC stay (sorta) I'm thinking of the things I'm excited for and the things I'm sad to leave behind...mutta ei se mitään because I wasn't called to the MTC haha. One thing is for sure though, I'm so excited to get to Finland! To start sharing about Jesus Christ with the people there, and to help and serve them as He would. I will definitely miss all the friends I've made here as we go our separate ways, but it just means I have a reunion to look forward to and we'll have so much to talk about! But uh no, it still doesn't feel like I'm leaving the MTC yet, I'll let yall know when it settles in- I'm praying for all of you! Also Happy Easter week!! Its been such a specia...

Anteeks (sorry) I say the number of weeks each email but it's just so mindblowing to me the amount of time that's gone by. It either feels like I've been here a lot longer or a lot shorter than that...like it's either my second day or it's been months- but anyways let me talk about this European Bob Summer haha to preface let me say I've always liked the bob hairstyle I just didn't think I myself could pull it off or should even try since my hair is very curly...now back to the story- Sisar Draper and Õde Richard had the crazy idea to get a bob, and I think what sealed the deal is the idea is not only having a bob...but having one in Europe...and in the summer ?! Also being a missionary means there's less time to do your hair anyways ans by the time you come home it's grown out quite a bit. So with all those things in mind they went and got bobs?! ...
