2 Weeks Till Pulla?! 🍞

So somehow its now been 6 weeks here in the MTC, which means I have 2 more?! So I'll finish out this week and starting Monday I'll be SYL-ing (Speak Your Language)?! And then that next Tuesday I'll be flying out pretty much??! Honestly as I'm nearing the end of my MTC stay (sorta) I'm thinking of the things I'm excited for and the things I'm sad to leave behind...mutta ei se mitään because I wasn't called to the MTC haha. One thing is for sure though, I'm so excited to get to Finland! To start sharing about Jesus Christ with the people there, and to help and serve them as He would. I will definitely miss all the friends I've made here as we go our separate ways, but it just means I have a reunion to look forward to and we'll have so much to talk about! But uh no, it still doesn't feel like I'm leaving the MTC yet, I'll let yall know when it settles in-

I'm praying for all of you! Also Happy Easter week!! Its been such a special time to be here in the MTC with all these missionaries for General Conference and now Easter?? I feel so lucky I'm here during these times. And I know He is Risen ! 

Updates:
🤍 I won't lie this week was a bit of a rougher one for me, my poor sweet comp Sisar Luke was sick (and a lot of the district) which meant lots of trips to the doctor and lots of classes on zoom from the dorm but all is well all is well 
🤍 And honestly being on zoom for a few classes made me so happy to be in person again! 
🤍 The weather has been so beautiful and sunny so a lot of us would soak up the sun as much as possible- and uh then the email this week with do's and don'ts and one was don't sunbathe...ha ha awkward  
🤍 Tuesday Devotional! I always love these, we were all convinced it was going to be one of the 12 because it was the fanciest I've ever seen it, long story short it wasn't, BUT oh my gosh I loved this week's devotional it might be a favorite one of mine so far.


Spiritual Thought:
So in the devotional yesterday Sister and Elder Casillas talked about these brave missionaries who had shared the gospel with their families and brought them Jesus Christ and His gospel, and how it completely changed their lives. And how when we share some will say no, BUT some will say yes and that's why I'm here. Because even if I only find one person who's been searching for Jesus and didn't know where they could find Him, I can teach them! Or if they don't want to hear my message I can still love and serve them. After all the best way to show my love for God is to serve His children. 

I'm just so grateful for this opportunity to represent my Savior and love the people I'm going to meet and give them Jesus, who can give them everything. 💗 What does Jesus add to your life? Or maybe think, how would my life be without Him? 


Shoutouts: 
💙 THE BINS which I've meant to talk about in my email but I kept forgetting...BUT there are these bins on every floor of the dorms and I found so many goodies this week! Like Halloween lights?? CLOGS (I used to wear mine everyday and for some reason didn't bring mine) super cute shirt and pants??? Basically the bins were very generous this week hahaha 
💙 PACKAGE!! Kinda unrelated but definitely worth a shoutout is my mom getting me some new skirts to wear (shoutout mom love you !) 
💙 I Stand All Amazed choir arrangement "Wonderful" we sang this song yesterday and it was so powerful, so beautiful 
💙 Signs! The game "signs" was unlocked this week by my district and it's so fun to play with everyone (I made my sign bowing so everyone has to bow to me hahah) 
💙 Elder Brown! I kept seeing this guy I thought I recognized but I was scared to say anything because I wasn't sure he'd remember me from FSY like 4 years ago but he did and that was super fun to catch up !
💙 Shoutout Udu for giving me a massage, released years of tension I didn't even know I had haha 

Love you all! Send me updates I'd love to hear what's been going on from my favorite people! Yall know the drill by now, I can read your messages anytime but can only respond to them on PDAY. Have an amazing week and an amazing Easter celebrating Him!

"Onneksi olkoon Airfryer!" 💯

 HAUKKUMINEN  It was super funny we got an airfryer at mission tour, our mission is in the process of getting them out to all the missionaries! They're super handy for making food fast which is such a blessing as a busy missionary BUT what was funny is that we had to carry this huge airfryer box all the way back home on public transport and stuff and someone said "(the title of this email) =Congratulations on the Airfryer!" It made me giggle.  PÄIVITYKSET  🔥 Mission Tour! aka the area president and his wife spoke with half of the missionaries in the mission and it was SO powerful. I had gone into "mission tour" wanting to know that the Lord was aware of me and the very first talk given by our lovely sister mission president (the wife of our mission president, she loves to say there is two mission presidents including herself haha I love her) talked about something I have been struggling with for a long time now.  Moi!  Well for starters...I MADE IT TO FINLAND!! My trainer is the absolute best and I feel so so lucky, her name is Sisar Wynn :) And I'm in a town called Rauma!! Its very beautiful, especially Vanha (old) Rauma-basically very cute and European  Per usual I'll get into some updates, spiritual thought, and some fun shoutouts haha  I hope everyone is doing well, I'm praying for yall and as always I'd love some emails sent my way... (I might not always have the time to respond-but I do read them !!) Also I miss my district/branch MTC peoples SO BAD RAHHHH so just know I pray for yall daily 🙏  Updates: 🤍 Our friend L wants to be baptized THIS FRIDAY !! She has such strong faith and we're meeting with her everyday to make her baptism possible. the greatest gift 💝

Hiya everyone, this is my mom. (trainer)  Her name is Sister Wynn, she's going home this week and I am going to miss her so much. She has been such an example to me, from day 1, of Christlike love and charity. I love you Wynn!  But in other news, transfers are in a week. A WEEK! I swear the transfers just feel faster and faster and before I know it I'm going to be back home-so wild to think about.  Yay for Finnish boxing-day and celebrating Christmas for 3 days! We have so many lovely members who are gonna take us in during the holiday, AND my comp and I did some fun christmas things for each other too. We also had a Christmas Conference and I got to sing some songs! (serious shoutout to Aimee and being my inspiration to sing My Grown Up Christmas List)  But with it being Christmas time I think it appropriate to share a special spiritual thought focusing on the greatest gift of them all: Our dear savior and friend, Jesus Christ.  This Child divine...
