This is super random but guys I have a new dream, I want a small dog supa bad after the mission. I wanna get a puppy and only teach it Finnish commands haha. ALSO I'm determined to find a Finnish friend to teach me to make pulla....katsotaan....

PÄIVITYKSET 🌸

🤍 Another DA! This time with two lovely member ladies and they took us to a really yummy Chinese buffet

🤍 We asked our friend about baptism and he said he wants to work towards it!! We haven't set a date, but it's been exciting to help and see his faith grow in Jesus !

🤍 OFFICALLY GRADUATED MY GREENIE ERA WOOHOO I am a full red blooded missionary now-the streets of Finland aren't ready

🤍 We had apartment checks and it was really funny because the guy doing them also showed us some music videos his son made (Finnish music is gas I can't lie ((its super good)) )

🤍 ZONE PDAY!! So we had a mini zone conference followed by a zone pday! So we had our free day with tons of other missionaries in our area and it was super fun! We had fun with waterballoons, played soccer, and even some basketball! WITHOUT AN ANKLE BRACE WOOHOO although my victory worm (about doing sports without the brace) didn't feel too great on my ankle....oopsies

🤍 Helped some members move, felt good to do some service since I haven't done too much here yet

🤍 Guys language night popped off-so many new people I'd never met came so that's always super exciting!

🤍 This is a sad update but...the lady who said we were going to fire and brimstone called us up again and was like "hey actually y'all are chill let's talk Jesus together!" And then like 20 minutes after that hour long conversation she told us we were poisoning her and she didn't want to go to the fire with us....very sad she's such an awesome lady BUT I still love her so much and I really appreciate her love for Jesus and the good example she's being

🤍 We met a sweet Ukranian man who seemed to be a little but of a lost soul BUT he told us "I just love you guys" when Sisar Dickens had a mythic pull moment (Shoutout Vanhin White) and used her Russian to tell him Jesus loves him

HENGELLINEN HETKI 🙏

I've been reading about the early Saints experiences in the Saints and I really loved this quote:

...he yearned to know how he was supposed to exercise faith in a blessing when its promises seemed so far out of reach. “Try the Lord,” the Spirit suddenly whispered to him, “and see if anything is too hard for Him.”

I love this quote because nothing is too hard for the Lord. If the Lord promises us something we WILL get it. And we're promised eternal life! Not to mention, God's entire purpose is to help us to get there, and that we can have joy. Guys, God wants us to be happy, He knows life is hard. That's why He gave us Jesus Christ, this beautiful Earth, our families. All these things that can give us joy despite the bad. Especially Jesus Christ, He gives us every reason to be happy!! I invite y'all to think more on Jesus this week. How has God blessed you? What can you tell God you're grateful for the next time you pray?

🧶 I might be addicted to crocheting a little-

🔒 So we had a tracting block yesterday and instead of doing our normal methods we rang doorbells from outside to see if anyone would let us in-AND PEOPLE DID?!

🍦I had a Biscoff McFlurry! I hadn't had one since last transfer and it reminded me of Sister Wynn teehee

🧚‍♀️ CALL FROM MY DISTRICT BADDIES ! I love them so much its like talking with family

🌊 MÖKKI !!! WE GOT INVITED BACK TO THE SUMMER COTTAGE WE WENT TO ON JUHANNUS RAAAHHH AND THE WEATHER IS LOVELY might have said a little grateful prayer in the sauna...(also the title is because we called the member and asked if it was safe to come down since the Elders were saunaing)
