"Onneksi olkoon Airfryer!" 💯

It was super funny we got an airfryer at mission tour, our mission is in the process of getting them out to all the missionaries! They're super handy for making food fast which is such a blessing as a busy missionary BUT what was funny is that we had to carry this huge airfryer box all the way back home on public transport and stuff and someone said "(the title of this email) =Congratulations on the Airfryer!" It made me giggle.

PÄIVITYKSET

🔥 Mission Tour! aka the area president and his wife spoke with half of the missionaries in the mission and it was SO powerful. I had gone into "mission tour" wanting to know that the Lord was aware of me and the very first talk given by our lovely sister mission president (the wife of our mission president, she loves to say there is two mission presidents including herself haha I love her) talked about something I have been struggling with for a long time now. Soooo in case anyone was wondering...God is aware of us !!

🔥 DA #1 We had a dinner with a wonderful family who aren't members of the church, and it was just so fun. The dad lived in Utah as a foriegn exchange student so they have member "American grandparents". Honestly just super excited to get to know them better.

🔥 DA #2 I've been getting to know a young women in the ward during the youth activies (we bonded over baggy jeans haha) and then her mom invited us over for dinner BUT she asked us beforehand what we'd like to eat and I asked if she happened to know how to make this Finnish pastry dough called "pulla" (definitely mentioned this before in my emails) and SHE DID SO WE MADE PULLA TOGETHER IT WAS SO HAPPY

🔥 Best. Week. Ever. Because WE GOT TO GO TO THE TEMPLE! Since I'm living in the Helsinki area now and the temple is nearby I get to go once a transfer. AND not only did I get to go to the best place on Earth BUT I also saw so many beloved members from my previous area, Rauma. I LOVE THEM GAAHHH It was just amazing. OH and on top of that I got to meet the lovely Finn who helps and teaches all the missionaries in person for the first time :)

🔥 Sisarten Päivä! All the adult sisters in the Helsinki stake in the church got together at this sorta hotel restort place and it was just so fun! We even got to do some zumba haha

🔥 I got to teach 2nd hour of church (in English) which was such a treat, I really like teaching and we studied the last talk President Nelson gave so of course it was awesome!

🔥 DA #3 Got invtied to a members house after church, they're super cool and they had a cat (Heivai) who reminded me of my Romeo which was super tender, I miss him lots

🔥 Service! I love when we have service, every other week we get to help out at the red cross and it's definitely become a highlight

🔥 We've had so many miracles in the work, as a zone we ask people in the different wards to fast for us (so someone is fasting for us everyday) And it's been SO cool to see God's hand more clearly

"...I myself am a wicked man, and I have not kept the statues and the commandments of the Lord as I ought to have done."

We all will fall short AND that's why it's so important to ask: What do we do when we have this realization?? Well what we need to do is- REPENT! CHANGE! TRY TO DO BETTER! Don't stop there. Christ didn't stay in the tomb so we shouldn't stay in our lows/sins/bad days/bad moments!! Perfection takes time, but we have to give God something to work with. I invite you all to give yourself just a little more to God so He can mold you and shape you into just that 1% better and more Christlike. And then KEEP GOING! KEEP STRIVING! We aren't here to stay the same. We're meant to keep changing and growing🌱

MIRACLE 🌼

Omni 1:13 "...led by the power of [H]is arm..."

Sooooo after reading this scripture in my personal study, I prayed to God to KNOW somehow that we were being led by His hand that day. AND later in the day me and my companion were a bit hungry so we stopped in a little convenience store and one of our friends we were teaching (although I hadn't met her yet) was there! And I just knew it wasn't an accident that she was there right when we were. Little miracle but a personal one :)

🍣 Sushi with Elders! Nice.

🫓 Gave sourdough bread to the family we made pulla with and it was so fun to see how grateful they were (sourdough bread is no joke yall)

🌳 Forrest refferal-we tracked down someone's address and found ourselves in the middle of the woods...only in Finland

🌌 Night is coming faster?! Well the sun used to go down at 12am and now it's down by 8pm...WINTER IS COMING

👖 This has nothing to do with anything BUT I found the perfect pair of sweatpants FINALLY you guys don't even know how long I've been looking for these so I'M SUPER GRATEFUL RAAHHH
