"Uimari" 🏊‍♀️

After Juhannus some of the members are calling me "uimari" (the title) because we talked about my long swimming history haha 

Now, to be completely honest this week was possibly one of my roughest weeks on my mission...I didn't quite understand how much a mission can change with a change of companion. My new companion is great, don't get it twisted ! It's just been weird adjusting to someone new, who has new ideas for how to do things/spend our time etc. There's good and bad in it, but overall I'm feeling that this transfer is going to be something of a "growth" transfer. BUT never fear, tough things in life make tougher people 💪💪 although with that being said prayers are always much appreciated-ANYWAYS 

PÄIVITYKSET💥

🤍 Both of those referrals I mentioned last email are actually bearing fruit !! We met with one way out in the boonies of Säkylä and the drive was soooooo beautiful. 

💙 Speaking of driving, the speed limits here are SO slow to me-like the normal speed we go usually is probably like 40 or 50 km/h which is like 25-30 m/h.....Let's just say I'm gonna feel like I'm zooming in the states BUT #DesignatedDriver 

🤍 Lots of lots of finding this week and mostly tracting. So we knocked apartments and houses and had lots of success actually! A few wanted us to come back and a nice man knew the Elder missionaries so he chatted with us and gave us a side-by-side Finnish to English Bible! 

💙 We have a progressing friend! We've been meeting with him frequently and with a member ! We plan to invite him to be baptized very soon!! 

🤍 FIRST DISTRICT COUNCIL WITH NEW DISTRICT these guys are awesome, I can tell lots of good work is gonna happen. 

💙 Finnish is coming along, I understand a lot more than I used to as I said in my last email. It can be hard though when I want to really connection with these members I love and I can't fully express myself BUT it's okay because as I try my best God can help them to feel my meaning!

🇺🇸 2 Nephi 26:

24 He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life that he may draw all men unto him. Wherefore, he commandeth none that they shall not partake of his salvation.

Jesus Christ's love for us is infinite, personal, and beyond any kind of understanding. As said in this verse everything He did and does is for our benefit because He loves us! We're asked to have faith and trust in Him and show it by praying to the Father in Christ's name, read our scriptures, attend church and so on. We are asked so little and given SO much! When we use our agency or our ability to choose and choose Christ, we have access to blessing that are just waiting to be given to us! What is something you're willing to do this week to show God you choose Him?

🐈‍⬛ While tracting an apartment building someone let us meet their cat !! Shoutout Romeo I miss him so much (my cat)

🫓 I MADE SOURDOUGH guys I did it all on my own, the whole 3 day process ! Lowkey didn't cook it all the way BUT it's okay it still tasted divine 

🍟 Soooo funny story with District Council, my comp and I were in charge of the food HOWEVER we were not aware that the oven was not working....very awkward SO we all went to McDonalds together haha
