2 WEEKS LEFT OF THIS TRANSFER??! Guys, I fear my time in Rauma is almost over. Honestly, I'm very sad to leave and have no idea what to expect BUT the good news is, I know I can trust that God knows me best and will send me somewhere I can learn and grow and improve!

PÄIVITYKSET 🌸

🤍 We had a lesson with our friend who I've talked about every email and we sadly recognized that he won't be ready for baptism soon BUT that's okay! Conversion takes time, I'm grateful for his willingness to keep learning.

🤍 LOTS of contacting people this week: texting, calling, etc. I even met a lady on Facebook and was able to bear my testimony of Jesus. It's so cool to see how the Lord is hastening His work!

🤍 There was a friend we dropped (stopped teaching) last transfer and to my surprise he genuinely wanted to meet and we had an awesome lesson with him!

🤍 We had a blitz splits which means I spent time with a different companion for like an hour before they went back to their city. We went contacting in the streets and since both of us are pretty new missionaries it was a BIT humbling but we agreed after it was suuuuper fun-

🤍 So we had a lesson over the phone with the guy we gave the Book of Mormon to who lives an hour away and he is awesome. We ask him what he thinks when we read the Book of Mormon and bear testimony and he says he feels what we talk about is great, amen haha

🤍 (TITLE EXPLAINATION) So I sang the hymn "I Stand All Amazed" in church this Sunday and even though it wasn't my best performance because I was super nervous the members told me they felt the spirit! Which I was so grateful to hear because that's what I had wanted. Oh and the title is how one of our friends described my song haha. OH and another member was being funny and said after that I sound more beautiful when I sing than when I talk haha (At least I think thats what he said....it was in Finnish so...)

🤍 DA!!! I absolutely love the members here, and this week we had the opportunity to have a dinner appointment at a members house I had never been to. Such good food, super cute dog, amazing peoples, and we played the card game Scum together!

7 Nevertheless, the Lord God showeth us our weakness that we may know that it is by his grace, and his great condescensions unto the children of men, that we have power to do these things.

I love the words of Jacob. This past week my district was focusing on humility. So we were invited to pray that God grant us more humility and to see how it affected our week. First of all I'd define humility as letting God's will be more important than ours and also showing gratitude for all we've been given! It's easy to feel humble when we realize all we're been given is from God. I guess I've just realized more than ever that God makes it all possible. All my weakness, and imperfection can be swallowed up in God's greatness when I include Him and try to do what He wants. We are God's purpose! How can you show God this week that you love Him and that the things that are important to him are important to you? I promise God wants you to have joy because YOU are His joy!

💃💃 SURPRISE SLEEPOVER! The Pori sisters slept over which was so fun, I love them

🚘 DISTRICT PDAY we got to sleepover in the Pori sisters apartment (lots and lots of yapping) AND I got to visit Yyteri again!! It's apparently the biggest beach in the Nordics!

🧶 Guys! I learned how to knit this week and let me tell ya it is WAY harder than crocheting in my opinion. My square is lookin pretty ratchet haha

🇫🇮 SYL (speak your language) Me and my comp have been trying to only speak Finnish and it's been surprisingly fun and I'm feeling better and better towards learning the language (my understanding is definitely getting better!)

Yall know by know I love ya but I'm gonna continue saying it haha. And as usual send me emails if you want, I seriously love reading them!! Have an amazing week everyone, remember you are a child of God 🫶
