It's so strange to me how in America does things differently than the rest of the world haha. I've gotten used to military time, calling soccer football, measuring in deciliters, driving km/h. But anyways GUYS I'm actually really sad I finished half of my crochet project but there's no more of the yarn I've been using at the store-I'm absolutely cooked.

🤍 Service opportunity! We got to vacuum and clean tbathroom of a lovely member, again kinda embarrassing trying to help when I don't always understand what they're telling me to do haha BUT HEY! They fed us too which is always super fun and Finnish food is yummy. (lots of potatoes, butter on bread, cheese, macaroni casseroles with ketchup, and fish) 
🤍 Sooo we had a soccer ("football" because we're in Europe haha) night and it was super fun! But we definitely had a VERY interesting lineup of people haha. The scary Finnish man who was ranting about me and Sisar Wynn's eyes came and was....well way too close for comfort at times and randomly telling me I was pretty and just overall invading my personal space-but hey without those type of experiences I wouldn't have fun stories to share with yall....
🤍 Miracles with finding!! We haven't had too much success on the streets and then randomly one day we found 3 super nice interested people!?! God is a God of miracles no doubt. 
🤍 MORE MIRACLES! We drove out an hour to find someone who had requested a Book of Mormon BUT when we got there the door to the apartment building was locked and the guy wasn't answering us. So we said a prayer, went to the other person who had requested one and while we were there he texted us back!! Telling us we could come give it to him! It was super cool, he was waiting outside for us and we got to have a mini lesson and read some together while we were there! 
🤍 SURPRISE DA! (Dinner appointment) So I thought the Elders were pulling my leg when they asked us how we were going to get to the DA but turns out the reason I was so confused was because they had completely forgotten to tell us about it-supa awkward but hey! everything worked out and it was an amazing time, we had yummy Filipino food and sang karaoke together :)

Just Keep Going—with Faith

"Do you know what I am grateful for? That I didn’t give up—or resist...I would have missed an opportunity to increase my faith and receive a rich outpouring of love and support from my Heavenly Father...In spite of my weakness, I learned that I can serve; I can contribute when the Lord is by my side if I just keep going—with faith."

As a missionary in a transfer that's been full of growth I related to this quote a lot. But just in our everyday lives we have these moments. "I'd be so much easier if I gave up" BUT what do you lose when you give up? And better yet, think about all that you gain! I bet we can all remember a time we accomplished something that was hard, and the lessons we learned from it. The fun part is that those moments are what this life is for! Growth, change and becoming better and if we want it to be everlasting then we need to involve God and Jesus. Only through their help can we come out of the other side of our trials just a little better than we were before. Don't be discouraged, God is on your side! Keep going even when you can't see the end of the road and trust that God will take care of you as you rely in Jesus Christ. He is after all mighty to save :)

 HAUKKUMINEN  It was super funny we got an airfryer at mission tour, our mission is in the process of getting them out to all the missionaries! They're super handy for making food fast which is such a blessing as a busy missionary BUT what was funny is that we had to carry this huge airfryer box all the way back home on public transport and stuff and someone said "(the title of this email) =Congratulations on the Airfryer!" It made me giggle.  PÄIVITYKSET  🔥 Mission Tour! aka the area president and his wife spoke with half of the missionaries in the mission and it was SO powerful. I had gone into "mission tour" wanting to know that the Lord was aware of me and the very first talk given by our lovely sister mission president (the wife of our mission president, she loves to say there is two mission presidents including herself haha I love her) talked about something I have been struggling with for a long time now.  Moi!  Well for starters...I MADE IT TO FINLAND!! My trainer is the absolute best and I feel so so lucky, her name is Sisar Wynn :) And I'm in a town called Rauma!! Its very beautiful, especially Vanha (old) Rauma-basically very cute and European  Per usual I'll get into some updates, spiritual thought, and some fun shoutouts haha  I hope everyone is doing well, I'm praying for yall and as always I'd love some emails sent my way... (I might not always have the time to respond-but I do read them !!) Also I miss my district/branch MTC peoples SO BAD RAHHHH so just know I pray for yall daily 🙏  Updates: 🤍 Our friend L wants to be baptized THIS FRIDAY !! She has such strong faith and we're meeting with her everyday to make her baptism possible. It's sometimes a little hard to understand each other, because she's from Romania and doesn't speak the best English BUT we always feel the spirit so strong when we meet with her  🤍 First Sunday in Finland !! Hiya everyone, this is my mom. (trainer)  Her name is Sister Wynn, she's going home this week and I am going to miss her so much. She has been such an example to me, from day 1, of Christlike love and charity. I love you Wynn!  But in other news, transfers are in a week. A WEEK! I swear the transfers just feel faster and faster and before I know it I'm going to be back home-so wild to think about.  Yay for Finnish boxing-day and celebrating Christmas for 3 days! We have so many lovely members who are gonna take us in during the holiday, AND my comp and I did some fun christmas things for each other too. We also had a Christmas Conference and I got to sing some songs! (serious shoutout to Aimee and being my inspiration to sing My Grown Up Christmas List)  But with it being Christmas time I think it appropriate to share a special spiritual thought focusing on the greatest gift of them all: Our dear savior and friend, Jesus Christ.  This Child divine...
