"I'm catholic but you're doing great 🫶"

Unfortunately I don't have time to write a full email this week BUT I always have time for yall so let me share a couple things 

☀️ We actually have so many interested people we're working with which has been so exciting! 

☀️ (TITLE EXPLANATION) We went to the university to see if we could find some more interested people, and stopped a girl who tells us "the title" and does a heart with her hands...it was somewhat sweet? 

☀️ Once a week we go to a sweet older  Finnish member lady's house to chat, listen to her explain old pictures (sometimes of her "forever friends" aww) and share a spiritual thought. Well, this week my comp had the idea that I sing while she played the ukulele so we did just that! And this lady seemed so touched by it, and I was grateful for the opportunity to share a God-given talent to well bless one of His sweet children! 

☀️ We had a lesson all set up and a member with us too, but it ended up falling through...BUT guys it was so amazing. This member, who had come an hour by bus ride, has a recently broken down car, and probably a million other things he could be doing asks if we want to practice teaching him in Finnish!! He also shares a spiritual message to lift and encourage us. I don't have time to go into detail but God sent us one of His angels that day. This member is truly such an angel to all missionaries but especially to us that day 

I'D LOVE TO SHARE MORE BUT IM SO OUT OF TIME 

I'll leave yall with a spiritual thought: 

Alma 12:21 "And now, as I said concerning faith—faith is not a perfect knowledge of a thing; wherefore, if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true."

Faith can be confusing to me, which is why I chose this verse. This verse says that faith is not knowledge, but hope. That is, we can trust and hope in the promises of God. I recently read a definition of faith that said, you are assured that when you repent, your sins will be forgiven through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus...etc. and I remember thinking, how can I be assured of that? But, then I thought, well, this is perfect faith...we can hope and one day our faith will be perfect.

 HAUKKUMINEN  It was super funny we got an airfryer at mission tour, our mission is in the process of getting them out to all the missionaries! They're super handy for making food fast which is such a blessing as a busy missionary BUT what was funny is that we had to carry this huge airfryer box all the way back home on public transport and stuff and someone said "(the title of this email) =Congratulations on the Airfryer!" It made me giggle.  PÄIVITYKSET  🔥 Mission Tour! aka the area president and his wife spoke with half of the missionaries in the mission and it was SO powerful. I had gone into "mission tour" wanting to know that the Lord was aware of me and the very first talk given by our lovely sister mission president (the wife of our mission president, she loves to say there is two mission presidents including herself haha I love her) talked about something I have been struggling with for a long time now. I jus wanna let you know, I'm proud 🧖‍♀️

 Moi!  Well for starters...I MADE IT TO FINLAND!! My trainer is the absolute best and I feel so so lucky, her name is Sisar Wynn :) And I'm in a town called Rauma!! Its very beautiful, especially Vanha (old) Rauma-basically very cute and European  Per usual I'll get into some updates, spiritual thought, and some fun shoutouts haha  I hope everyone is doing well, I'm praying for yall and as always I'd love some emails sent my way... (I might not always have the time to respond-but I do read them !!) Also I miss my district/branch MTC peoples SO BAD RAHHHH so just know I pray for yall daily 🙏  Updates: 🤍 Our friend L wants to be baptized THIS FRIDAY !! She has such strong faith and we're meeting with her everyday to make her baptism possible. It's sometimes a little hard to understand each other, because she's from Romania and doesn't speak the best English BUT we always feel the spirit so strong when we meet with her  🤍 First Sunday in Finland !! the greatest gift 💝

Hiya everyone, this is my mom. (trainer)  Her name is Sister Wynn, she's going home this week and I am going to miss her so much. She has been such an example to me, from day 1, of Christlike love and charity. I love you Wynn!  But in other news, transfers are in a week. A WEEK! I swear the transfers just feel faster and faster and before I know it I'm going to be back home-so wild to think about.  Yay for Finnish boxing-day and celebrating Christmas for 3 days! We have so many lovely members who are gonna take us in during the holiday, AND my comp and I did some fun christmas things for each other too. We also had a Christmas Conference and I got to sing some songs! (serious shoutout to Aimee and being my inspiration to sing My Grown Up Christmas List)  But with it being Christmas time I think it appropriate to share a special spiritual thought focusing on the greatest gift of them all: Our dear savior and friend, Jesus Christ.  This Child divine...
